Founders
Alduras was founded by King Wick. King is an industrial controls veteran with decades of experience developing industrial and marine applications.
King received his Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering Technology from Oregon Institute of Technology. He holds a patent entitled 'Toll Free Account Recharge System and Method' which details a technique for mobile devices to recharge minutes by tying the mobile device owner's credit card information to their device: it is mostly used on prepaid phones.
Prior to developing industrial controls systems, King co-founded a mobile software development company called Atom Technology. This venture-funded company developed compiler/linker software to permit large applications to run on small mobile devices. It was similar in functionality to Docker: see www.docker.com. Atom Technology was sold to Vesta Inc.

• Favorite Book: From the Corner of His Eye, Dean Koontz. Koontz is a wordsmith who weaves the themes of evil, friendship, family, optimism and subtle religious overtones into compelling fiction. I am in awe of this master of words who repeatedly reminds me of life's hopefulness.
• Favorite Quote from Dad: "It's better to close thy mouth and be considered a fool than to open it and remove all doubt." Variations attributed to Lincoln, Twain, and Proverbs 17:28: it appears dad ran in good company!
• Favorite Volunteer Opportunity: North Clackamas Junior Softball Association, Milwaukie, Oregon. Girls softball, ages 5-18. Youth softball can be an allegory for the rest of life's experiences: attitude and effort will lead you to personal triumph. Winning is not the point: shared failures and shared experience lead to inner growth through the joy of teamwork.
• Favorite Charity: Albertina Kerr Centers, Portland, Oregon. Programs to assist children, adults and families facing mental health challenges and developmental disabilities. Please give!

Moose is a co-founder of Alduras. His plate is full acting as our HR consultant, director of Morale, director of Corporate Security (keeping geese off the grounds), and is in charge of our real-time background check process (although some ne'er-do-wells have been known to circumvent the background checks by using anything that smells like food).
Moose left us in 2020 due to a failing heart. His love of life, gentleness, and perpetually happy demeanor is a reminder for us all to strive towards. He was a 'rescue' dog with a difficult start to life and a gradual, peaceful sunset. Please consider adopting: you will be the benefactor, your canine friend is along for the ride.
Main Office
Alduras offices are headquartered in beautiful Southern Oregon. We are about an hour's drive from Crater Lake (a US National Park of outstanding merit), a 15 minute drive from outstanding Lost Lake, and located on the banks of the pristine, wild Rogue River.
The Rogue Valley Medford International Airport is a half hour drive from our headquarters. Alduras performs projects throughout the world.
